When designing a custom parka for a team, here are some important things to consider:

**The Front of the Parka:**
Commonly swimmers embroider their names on the right or left chest of the parka. Small logos may be added too!

**Lettering Options:**  On average the names are about 1 inch tall. You may choose from cursive or block lettering.  We generally limit characters to 12, but if you have a special need for more letters please contact us directly.

**The Back of the Parka:
**We use a process called tackle twill to customize the back of our parkas.  [Click here](https://www.swimoutlet.com/pages/customization-guide) to learn more about tackle twill and the tackle twill options.

**Lettering Options:** Space is limited on the back of your parka.  Most teams use their team abbreviation for the back of a parka.  Tackle twill size can be adjusted to best suit the look of the parka.

**Letter constraints by size of tackle twill:**
For the back of a parka here are the character limits by size of Tackle Twill Selected:
2 inches- up to 11 letters
4 inches- up to 6 letters
5 &6 inches- up to 4 letters
