# How to Customize Products in your Team Store

You can design and add customized team gear directly to your Team Store using our built-in customization portal. Follow the steps below to search for products, add them to your store, and create your own logo/text design.

### 1\. After logging into your SwimOutlet account, toggle to your **Team Store account** from one of these two places:

### 2\. Click the **Products** tab under the Team Store container:

*   Then click **Add Products**

### 3\. Search for products by:

**A.** Using the search bar (product names, brands, colors, etc.)  
**B.** Browsing by popular categories  
**C.** Using filters

### 4\. Click the **ADD** button underneath a product to begin customization:

### 5\. On the ADD window:

**A.** Select the **Group** you'd like to add the custom product to  
**B.** Choose if it's **Required** (only if applicable)  
**C.** Click the **ADD WITH CUSTOMIZATION** button

### 6\. Follow the steps in the customization portal:

#### Step 1: Choose Color & Customization Method

1.  Select the product color (if applicable)

#### Step 2: Add Image / Logo

    *   Accepted formats: **SVG, PNG, JPEG, BMP** (Max 4MB)

Once placed, you can:

1.  **Edit logo colors**, including setting any color to “transparent”
    
2.  **Resize, rotate, flip, or delete** the image
    
3.  **Move the logo** using click-and-drag

> 💡 Note: EPS files are no longer required—just make sure your file meets the format and size guidelines above.

### 7\. Add Text (Optional)

Click the **Text** tool in the portal to add team names, slogans, or location text:

*   Enter your custom text and select a design zone

You can then:

1.  Choose font, fill color, and stroke (outline) color & thickness
    
2.  Adjust size, rotation, and placement
    
3.  Edit spacing, curve the text, and apply paragraph formatting

### 8\. Add Names (Optional)

Click the **Add** **Names** step to allow team members to add their name during checkout.

*   A **NAME** placeholder will appear on the product
    
*   Style and place the name just like any other text

### 9\. Manage Layers (Optional)

### 10\. Submit Your Design

When finished, click the **Submit Design** step:

*   Give your design a name

> ⏳ Designs are reviewed and approved by our customization team within **1–3 business days**. Once approved, your product will appear live in your store.

## 💡 Important Tips:

*   Adding logos and text may increase the product’s price.
    
*   If a custom product disappears from your store, it may be **out of stock**. Contact us for inventory assistance.
